Seminar Jejak Gemilang PiSSA @ 16.07.2010 - 19.07.2010 - Part 1

Excited! We went to school at around 12pm. I sat with Wai Yan in the bus at first, but then i quickly went to the front seats because I wanted to watch the movie that was shown on the TV! We reached there at about 3pm. After a short briefing, we went to our room. It's an apartment. Me, Jasmine, Wai Yan, and Hoi Ki in one room, and Min Ai, Siew Yin, Ya Fei, and Hajar in another. What's the thing that catches our attention once we've settled down?? It's the mini fun fair!!!I guess it would be really nice if we could actually play these..

At 9pm, our first seminar started. "Laluan ke IPT" by our penolong kem komandan. She started the talk by walking around the hall and then stopped in front of me.

" How are you?"
"Fine, thank you."
"Was the dinner great?"
"Yup."

Short answer from me :P

I wouldn't say that this seminar is boring.

Time to go back to our rooms at about 11.30p.m. We chatted in the living room until I went to sleep at about 1 a.m.

17.07.2010

6 a.m. in the morning, finished preparing and we went down to eat breakfast. We looked around. Everyone was wearing their school uniform, except us. The boys came. They too, did not wear their uniform. Actually the kem komandan already informed us about what to wear for the morning and afternoon session, but i guess we're too stubborn to change, so u can actually see that we, students from Bentong were the ones who never wore the school uniform! XD

We were asked to do some senaman before we start the seminar. Gary was asked to conduct it. Poor Gary :D And then Gary was asked to choose another person to replace him. He looked at me. But luckily, he chose Ely at last. :D

The first seminar of the day ----- Biology Paper 2. Well, nothing much to say about it.

The next seminar ----- Physics Paper 2. Gosh this was the best seminar that I have ever had!!! Mr.Zamry was such a fun and great teacher, and you will definitely like him if you were in the hall with us :D

Next ----- English Paper 1. She talked mostly about narrative essays, which was suitable for me :)

Aktiviti Riadah ---- Video Games?? Swimming Pool?? No prob! So Jasmine, Hajar, and some of the boys went to the swimming pool, but I guess I should hit the arcade first!

Then Izam and me had a car race together(of coz it's not the real car or those bumper cars). Izam couldn't start his car at first! He kept banging on the machine XD So I was ahead of him for a few miles. And the results? I was 3rd and he was 4th :P

After dinner, we went inside the hall but there wasn't a single soul there. So we just had fun on our own!

YES Camp @ 03.07.2010 - 04.07.2010

So me, Mic, Khai, Shim, Mun Kit, Thanu, Darshini, Vinod, Arvind and all of them from 5 Cyber went to Genting Inti International College on the 3rd of July.
Before reaching there, we absolutely do not know that this is actually a camp. We just decided to come here without knowing where are we going and what is the purpose for this free trip. Funny, isn't it?
We went there by bus. There were 3 chalets at the entrance of the GIIC where we are going to spend the night there. So me, Mic, Thanu, and Darshini got into Manor 2, and for all the boys, it's Manor 3.
After a short while, we went to the 'lobby' of the GIIC (I don't really know what is that place).
After lunch, we spend a little time at the basketball court. It was nice to play there because we don't get sweaty easily (thanks to the weather!)

We went into the auditorium later. And of course, we have to introduce ourselves to the facilitators. Then, there were some talks by Mr.K and Mr. Tiru, and team grouping time. I was blessed that Thanussha was in the same group as mine! And Atikah was really kind to me. Suffian is the group leader. "United Nation" is our group's name, which was suggested by Thanu.

Shim's group won the Group Introduction part, where they danced to some music, and shouted their group's name -- "Waka waka!" loudly.

If I'm not mistaken, the "Connect with the Industry" part was next. GIIC is all about Hotel Management, so we had learned how to prepare a dining table nicely (like those five-stars-hotel-or-restaurant-style), and we learned to cook flambe (Fried Banana).

Let me revised:
1st, peel off the banana's skin with a spoon and a fork (for hygiene's sake) and cut it into two-half
2nd, heat the frying pan3rd, put in a cup of sugar and constantly "stirred" it to melt the sugar
4th, put in butter and mix it
5th, pour in a cup of orange juice
6th, put in the bananas and wait for 2 minutes
7th, tilt the frying pan so that the front part of the pan is heated with fire (to make it really hot)
8th, pour in alcohol
9th, serve!
Am I correct?? (By the way, Shim's group won this round again!)

Because of the weather, they cancelled the "water balloon volleyball" part (thankfully!) and replaced it with a "thank you" session. We were supposed to write a thank you letter to anyone and read the letter in front of everybody.
I was the second person who volunteered. I started my letter with: "Dear Michelle", and then, I can't control my tears. But somehow I managed to finished reading my letter, and Mic gave me a hug then. After that, a lot of them came out to tell everybody what they have written on the piece of paper. Almost all the girls who came out cried. It was really touching, listen to how people thank their most precious person.
Me and Mic ran out from the auditorium immediately after the session was over. The first to reach the chalet were me and Mic. Quickly, we brought all the things needed into the bathroom. I was the first one to bathe, and Mic waited outside for me. We did this just because we want to bathe really quickly before everyone else did. Then it's basketball time again, before dinner.
We have a group discussion, and it's time for Talentime!

Gosh I couldn't stop laughing when my group were performing! My character did not have any dialogues, so I could actually watch how the other members act! They were really great!! The winner? Our group and Shim's group!
Then the boys sang two songs for the facilitators. Nice guitar-playing there :P
They let us go to bed at 10pm, but we went to a place where we can watch the match between Germany and Argentina! All the GIIC's students there supported Argentina, but almost all of the Sulaimanese supported Germany. You can imagine how was their reaction and ours when Germany scored the 1st goal, then the 2nd goal, then the 3rd, and the 4th XD

I guess some of us did not feel like went to bed early that night, so we had a little chat outside the manor.
When me, Mic, Shim & Khai went to find for the first aid kit for someone, we met a GIIC student who came from China (I guess so) . Shim and Khai went for a midnight basketball match with him. Me and Mic went to bed at about 2am.

About 7am, it's basketball time again! We had nasi lemak for breakfast. Then we took some photos.

While we were hunting for treasure at the strawberry farm there, I had coffee for the first time in my life. I had been refusing to drink any coffee before this, because I wanted to have my first drink on a special day. But without knowing what type of drink did Khai bought, I drank it T.T

We went back to the college. It was raining heavily, but it didn't stop some of them from playing water balloon volleyball and basketball. It was funny though, looking at them splashing water at each other XD

在學校的日子@ 23 & 24.06.2010

Today is different from usual，there was a ceramah，and there was a pameran kerjaya.
After the ceramah, we walked to the dewan makan
Me, Mic, and XiaoHui's first stop was Sunway University College。I planned to sit there all day long, but since I can't think of anymore questions, we get up and went for our next stop.

Next stop is HELP University College. The man there was kind of friendly :D
Then..
HELP --> INTI --> MSU (if I'm not mistaken) --> Taylor (XiaoHui like that guy) --> UTAR --> UNISEL (just to get the plastic bags) --> Berjaya (the mat salleh :D)

The otomotif guy smiled really sweetly to us, but since we have nothing to ask if we go there, we just ignore him (pity him T.T)

Anyway, one hour was not enough for us to stop by at all the stops, wish they would give us some more time T.T

We returned to our class, and Miss Tan was there.
She talked about what should be our occupations when we grew up. She looked at me, and she said I have a counting-money-face, so definitely I'll become an accountant :D

She looked at XiaoHui, and the only thing that came out from her mouth: "Housewife." XD

I asked her: "What about Gary?"
She answered: " Gary ah? Not bad lo. He's handsome, he's tall.."
Surprised, I looked at her, and she said: "Yeah, I love Gary, so what?"
I told Thivya about this, and Thivya was shocked. Then she asked Miss Tan: "Teacher, how dare you do this to me?? How can you fall in love with Gary??"
Then she replied: " What? I said I love Gary, but I didn't say that I am in love with Gary."
Well, I don't really understand about the difference :P

After English, it's Chemistry.
While we were conducting the experiment, a glass breaking sound was heard. XiaoHui's group broke the crucible 0.0
And then, when we poured the magnesium oxide + carbon on a piece of paper, the paper was on fire!!! Quickly, we throw the paper into the sink and the fire goes off. Jasmine couldn't stop laughing during the incident.
Later, XiaoHui told me that something similar happened to her. She actually burned the rubbish bin!!! Immediately, she poured water into the rubbish bin and that's it.
I couldn't stop imagine that we nearly burned the chemistry lab, or even the school! XD

4.30p.m.
XiaoHui was willing to send us home, so me, mic, and khai all rode in XiaoHui's car. In the car, Khai thought of something and he clapped his hand. I looked at him, and one second later, both of us smiled. I know exactly what was he thinking and he was 100% sure that I knew what was it.
Well, let's keep it a secret about what it was :D

During recess, me and mic went to the toilet. While washing my hands, I leaned to the sink so my baju kurung was wet. I went to Beta class, and when Gary and Lun saw my clothes, Lun said:" Yer!!" and Gary said "哇, 爆水啊?" XD

Chinese class. Lun wrote me something in a paper and asked me: "You like him right?"
I looked at the paper( u want the answer, read in mandarin; u want it to sound funny, read in cantonese) :

浸咸粽

U guys should know who he meant right ? XD

Last period was Physics class. Mr. Chow gave us some sweets! :D
During the class, I heard Thivya asking Mic and Thanussha: "Do you use Darlie?"
Mic answered: "I use colgate."
With a really serious tone, Thivya said: "Darlie got free plate you know?"
And the four of us burst out laughing, including herself (Gosh I laughed so hard XD)

Life is good when you are with friends like them :)
